An epic reunion

Did it happen or did it not so?  It did happen - and we are in sync, with photos to prove it.  The reunion is now well and truly in the books!

Back on November 8th, Terry and I left Boston for our first post Pandemic international travel, meeting up with Tim and Jo in Nevis, a magical island in the Caribbean.

While I could write an extensive essay on all that transpired, suffice it to say that there was merriment (food and drink galore), mirth, and even some music, sprinkled in with island touring and the making of spectacular memories.

Among the highlights for us was jamming live with the Oulie Beach Resort All-Stars, a fabulous group of locals who play every week at a local bar/restaurant.  Our profound thanks to the honorable Mr. Doors on electric piano, Lee (the largest and perhaps loudest tasteful sax player in the world), Dr. Bob the Strat Psychiatrist, Libby the fixer, sound engineer and 5 string bassist, and a few other gents who drifted in from time to time.  We were even blessed by another vocalist, Tina from South Carolina, who abandoned her dinner to add to the sonic vibes.  What a band!!!!!!!    I played bass and some guitar... Tim played some guitar, sang quite a bit - and then sat in on the electronic drum kit when it became apparent that the chair was empty.  Sublime!

Later in the week, we returned for a more subdued acoustic set at the tail end of an open jam session.  As a duo, Ditch The MuuMuu performed "Strange Things" and "Bumpy Road" as well as a few rock and roll covers on a borrowed Ovation guitar.  Sublime!

In the interest of keeping things short, I'll stop here.  No doubt Tim will have thoughts to share in a future edition of MuuMuu Murmurs.
