Early responses to Worth Its Wait and other news

The Worth Its Wait CD & download are out in the world! The feedback now comes in from the great American & British public. But, before we get to that, let’s see how much you have raised for Cancer research, by backing our music. It’s somewhere in excess of £1500 in the UK & nearly $150 stateside - and rising steadily.  Well done everybody and thank you.

Now the listener feedback: Judy informed me she enjoys listening to "Hills of Worcester" especially whilst driving in Northamptonshire. Mark’s favourite is "Down" (whether he was listening to it in a submarine at the time he didn’t say, but I think not). Steve told me was listening to "Solstice day" as he drove down the A303 past Stonehenge - thus he & his family enjoyed the full audio visual experience of the song whilst surrounded by the beautiful Wiltshire countryside that inspired it. Helen confirmed that, indeed, it is a long walk down the Unthank Road. She should know, because she is living in Norwich - the location that inspired ‘Make Amends"  Personally, I don’t feel you have to be in Ulaan Baator to get the full impact of "Bumpy Road" but it might be wise to listen to the song before embarking on long distance travel.   Would a detailed knowledge of 1930s Ford motor cars enhance your listening pleasure of "Things that I have seen"? Possibly.

Please share your thoughts on your favourite DTMM tracks and tell us where they should or should not be heard. One thing I am certain of is that neither of us wish to currently visit the country whose plight gave voice to the 1st track on the “Difficult 2nd Album” It is Ukraine, the song is called ‘The Bear And The Nightingale’ and funds raised from its sale go to CARE (a Ukrainian relief charity).  You can purchase the single here: https://ditchthemuumuu.bandcamp.com/track/the-bear-and-the-nightingale

Eric & I and our lovely partners will be meeting up in St Kitts very soon, the first time we’ve actually seen each other since the Pandemic which prompted this whole recording adventure. Will this holiday inspire a Caribbean song? Who knows….. I hope so… stay listening to find out.
